Welcome to Our Story

Bright Path was founded with a shared vision to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and the families who support them. Drawing on more than 30 years of collective experience in the field, Staci and Megan recognized the need for person centered services that empower individuals to achieve their goals, build independence, and participate fully in their communities.

Throughout their careers, they have worked alongside individuals with diverse abilities, witnessing both the challenges they face and the incredible potential they possess. These experiences inspired them to create Bright Path, a place where compassion, expertise, and individualized support come together to help each person thrive.

Today, Bright Path provides high quality Behavior Support and Adult Day Training services designed to meet the unique needs of every individual we serve. We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and live a fulfilling life. Our commitment is to walk alongside those we support, helping them navigate their journey with dignity, respect, and confidence.
At Bright Path, we are more than a service provider. We are partners in building brighter futures and stronger communities.

Bright Path- Guiding individuals toward growth, independence, and opportunity.

Megan Durbin: Co-Founder & Executive Director

I began my career in 2011, a journey that led me to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) after earning my Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis. Over the last decade, I’ve developed behavior programs and supervised clinical teams across many agencies, but my mission has always remained the same: promoting true autonomy for every individual I serve.

The Science of Empowerment

My work centers on the belief that behavior support should fit the person, not the other way around. I specialize in creating person-centered plans that align with each individual’s unique goals and daily environments. I don’t just look at the science; I look at the human behind it, ensuring every strategy we implement is proactive, sustainable, and genuinely enhances our clients quality of life.

Collaboration & Community

I believe in working closely with families and caregivers to build functional skills that lead to real-world results. My goal is to empower our participants to actively—and proudly—engage in their communities while maintaining the highest levels of dignity and respect.

Supporting Our Team

In addition to my work with our participants, I am dedicated to providing clinical mentorship to our team at Bright Path. Together, we ensure that the support we provide isn’t just effective—it’s life-changing.

Life Outside the Office

To keep my own life balanced, I’m big on fitness and love staying active. When I’m not at Bright Path, you can usually find me traveling to new places or soaking up quality time with my family!

Staci Ray: Co-Founder & President of Operations

I began my career as a Direct Support Professional, and while my days are spent behind a desk now, my priority has never shifted. After two decades in this field wearing nearly every hat imaginable, opening Bright Path is truly the dream of my lifetime.

Advocacy Without Compromise

I am a firm believer that administration should never outrank advocacy. I’ve earned a reputation for being uncompromising, but I see it differently: I am a fierce, tenacious advocate for the people we serve. I’m not afraid to be the 'tough voice' in the room or take a no-nonsense approach to operations to ensure our mission stays on track and our participants come first.

Person-Centered, Faith-Led

To me, a participant is an individual—never a number. Guided by my Christian faith and a deep love for family, I view every person at Bright Path as a neighbor and every family as our own. This work is more than a career; it is a calling to serve with integrity, grace, and compassion.

Life Outside the Office

When I’m not championing our mission at Bright Path, you can find me traveling the world with my husband or tending to our many beloved pets at home!
